Dipitous was founded in 2026 by Garrett Blood and Carlos Barbosa on a simple thesis: the most durable companies of the next decade will combine novel data, patented intelligence, and disciplined operating teams. We build them, one at a time, under one roof.

Why we exist.

Most early-stage companies fail not because the idea is wrong, but because the company never becomes durable. Code can be copied. Brands can be outspent. The companies that compound own something the market cannot replicate — protected intelligence, hard infrastructure, or a network that took years to build.

Dipitous backs only the kinds of companies where that durability is engineered in from day one. A filed patent. A live product. A team that ships. We start each venture with the moat already being poured.

Our first company, Serendipity, is live today — a patent-pending social platform that finds the people you almost met. The next, the Dipitous AI Workforce, is built and launching soon. More will follow. Each company is independent in operation and capital, and connected by shared infrastructure, shared discipline, and a single long-term horizon.

Garrett Blood

Co-founder & CEO

Garrett is a two-time CEO with 21+ years of operating experience. He founded Arctic Zero in 2006 and grew it into the #3 most-sold ice cream pint in America. He founded Kajae in 2021 and grew it onto the Inc. 5000 — #204 in 2025, with 1,886% growth and #8 among US HR and staffing companies. At Dipitous he leads strategy, capital, and go-to-market across the umbrella, from first customer to scale.

Co-founder & CTO

Carlos is a computer scientist with 20+ years architecting production systems — including financial platforms that process millions of dollars in daily transaction volume. At Dipitous he owns engineering, product, and IP across the umbrella: the patent-pending architectures behind Serendipity and the AI Workforce, and the Narayana cognitive database. He architects the technology that makes each Dipitous company defensible — and ships the code that makes them real.
